Once you're through the red fog you get the Shorefront map automatically. Walk on past the memorial in Town Square and there's a phone booth. A Your Local Services flyer is taped to the right of the phone.

The sheet of paper stuck next to the phone is the clue.

The flyer lists three numbers: emergency, the operator, and one very odd service.

You can dial all three, but only the “save yourself” number moves the story on.

The other two numbers on the flyer are 900 (emergency) and 010 (operator). They work but don't progress anything. Remember 100: it saves your game from any phone for the rest of the run.
