The press conference area is full of rows of small black lockboxes, each numbered on top. You need the employee file from one of them before you can print an elevator card.
Before you startPREREQUISITES
- Case codes (top half)Security room, the bin to the right of the VHF transceiver
- Case codes (bottom half)Maintenance, the bin by the computer opposite the whiteboard. Combine both halves in your inventory into the full grid
- Box IDs and Names (clue)On the podium across from the press area — it says whose box is whose

There are dozens of boxes, but you only need one — Richard's.
HINT 02 / 03
The list on the podium gives Richard's box number. Put the two halves of the code grid together first.
HINT 03 / 03
The grid is laid out like the boxes in the room: find which row and column box 36 is in, then read the three digits from the same spot on the grid.

Box 36 is in the third row from the front, sixth from the left. You can look up the other boxes' codes too, but opening anyone else's box hurts you.

The grid isn't sorted by box number — it mirrors where the boxes physically sit. Count box 36's row and column in the room, then go to the same row and column on the combined grid.
Can I open all the boxes?
You can find every code, but any box other than Richard's damages you, and nothing in them moves the story forward.
